The Boston Red Sox selected Mo Vaughn with the 23rd pick of the 1989 MLB Draft. After a couple years of minor league baseball, Vaughn hit the big leagues in 1991. He retired in 2003 and now runs a real estate company focused on low-income housing redevelopment called Omni New York. He also owns Mo Vaughn Transport, a trucking company based in Ohio. Additionally, he owns Vaughn Sports Academy in Boca Raton, Florida.
